The Humphreys County Arts Council held its annual 'Art on the Square" June 2, 2012.
We had 38 participants. The weather was perfect and the artists were amazing, as usual.
We have many very good artists in this county. This is one way to showcase their talents.

We want to thank everyone who came out and participated and for their supporters.
A BIG thank you to Janie at the Waverly Cafe for the FREE ice cream cones for the artists.

And Thank You to all the volunteers who put this on every year.

OK, it's time for "Art on the Square.'
June 2 on the court square, downtown Waverly. Starts at 7am. Entry is FREE and chalk is provided. You bring your blanket or towel. 


All art has to be complete by 11:30 am to be judged. Awards presented at noon.
Five age groups, cash prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 

The weather is going to be perfect.
Come on out for a great time and show the world your art.
 

"Art on the Square" is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 8am-12:30pm on the court square in Waverly, Tn.

Chalk art drawn on the pavement. Five different age groups. Cash prizes paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group.
Chalk is furnished. Bring your blanket, towel, umbrella, and talent for a fun morning.

Everyone can draw and everyone wants to see it. Cash prizes in every age category.

Our Feb. meet will be Tuesday, Feb.21 at 6pm at the Chamber Office.
We are working on "Art on the Square". We need lots of help.
