We had 8 members at the September meeting.
We will have a booth at the Bicentennial celebration on October 17.
If you would like to display a piece of your art please contact Linda Baty.
We also need booth volunteers the day of the celebration. We are doing this in shifts so everyone can enjoy the days festivities. Contact Linda Baty if you can help out.
Next Arts Council meeting is October 13, 6pm at the Waverly Cafe.
The next Bicentennial meeting is Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6pm at the Annex.

August meeting
Our meeting last night was attended by 9 members.
Susan Eaton informed us that we got the grant to put on "Woods and Strings" in the schools and a public show on Friday night. The show will be October 23 and will be open to the public on Friday night at the Waverly Central High School auditorium. Please mark your calendar.
John Miano had drawn 2 logos for the council. They are being adjusted for print and will be on our letter head and business cards. Thank you goes out to John for his work on the logos.

If you would like your won booth t sell your art or crafts, contact Wendy at the Chamber office for a form. You need to turn the form in by Sept. 1.
Janie, at the Waverly Cafe is hosting a "Tea" on Friday night, October 16. There is limited seating and tickets are $12.00. Only a few tickets remain. This wil be a lot o fun and very informative.

Art Council happenings
We had seven members at the meeting on July 14.
Susan Eaton is working on the grant for the Woods and Strings performances.
John Miano had some rough drafts for our logo. We need a logo for the Art Council. It will be used for anything to do with the council. If you would like to work something up, that would be great. Bring it to the next meeting and we will look at all of them and pick one to use for the council. Use your imagination and create something that will represent our artists.

200th Birthday meeting
