Newest Blocks on the Quilt Block Trail.

Newest block on the  3 Rivers Quilt Block Trail.
Evelyn White painted it and it is on her house at 481 Powers Blvd. in Waverly. It is the "Flower Basket".

Here are some of the Quilt Blocks that are up and looking beautiful. More are in the process of being painted and we will get those up soon.
The first block is located at deer Creek Road and Arnold Hollow Road. The next 6 blocks are at Enoch's Grist Mill on East Little Blue Creek. The bottom block is up at the Johnsonville State Historic Park Welcome Center. Check them out on your drives around the county.

Quilt Block Trail update

We have the block at the Johnsonville State Historic Park Welcome Center up. It is beautiful.
Enochs Grist Mill has 7 blocks up and more coming. Patricia Davis of Enochs Mill will paint your block for you. Price depends on size. C&L Farms of Houston County will paint a block for you also.

First Bank of Waverly, McEwen City Hall, Waverly City Hall, New Johnsonville Senior Citizens Center are each doing a block. we have 3 private citizens doing one. Humphreys County Farmers
Co Op has one up already.

This is a great opportunity for your business to advertise one time for only $150.00 for a 4x4 block. There are a lot of people who follow these Quilt Trails, especially this being the 150th Anniversary of the  Battle of Johnsonville.

We will get a brochure printed when we have several blocks up and ready to view. This is a great way to get tourists into your business. It is a wonderful way to honor or remember a loved one. If you don't have a place to hang a block and would like to purchase one, we will find a prominent home for it.

We have our Quilt Trail on Facebook. We are just getting started so keep checking back. We will have information on the Quilt Blocks and how you can get one on your barn, outbuilding or business.

This is the first Quilt Block we have put up so far. It is on the Co-Op store front on Hwy. 13 South at Blue Creek Road. There are some already up at Enoch's Grist Mill that have been there for several years. More will go up this spring and summer.
We are in the beginning, of creating the Three Rivers Quilt Block Trail in Humphreys County. If you are interested in doing a block or you have a barn or building that is visible from the road where one could be hung, let us know.
